The building is one of a set of two and three-room logwood houses, typical construction of regional architecture in the northern parts of Central Slovakia. The three-room farmstead No.15 dates from 1886. The preserved interior furnishing and the overall division of the house provide an image of the way of life of the inhabitants in the first decades of the 20th century. The village Vlkolinec has been included in the World's cultural heritage list of UNESCO.
